The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
